It’s HOT!

This is one of the worst times of the year for dogs that languish out at the end of a chain or in an outside pen. Some with little or no shade or water, struggling to stay alive.

Plastic dog houses become “hot boxes” and do not provide proper shelter for a dog, especially if placed in the sun.

The best way to keep a dog safe and cool from extreme temperatures is to bring them inside. When a dog is outside, shade and water is the best way for them to stay as cool as possible.

If you know of a dog that is outside in the blazing sun with no relief, speak up and be their voice.

We ran this experiment to show the difference in temperatures inside and outside one of these plastic domes.
