Baxter has been through a lot since Unchained Melodies Dog Rescue found him chained to a tree in early January.

Baxter is a 2-year-old, 115 pound Great Pyrenees, Poodle mix who has had a long journey to recovery.

"Nothing is more infuriating than a dog chained to a tree because they got ‘too big,'" the rescue wrote in their first Facebook post about the 2-year-old dog.
